Wine grapes are specific grape varieties that are primarily cultivated and used in winemaking to produce wine. Unlike table grapes, which are grown primarily for eating fresh, wine grapes have distinct characteristics that make them suitable for the fermentation process, resulting in alcoholic beverages like wine. There are numerous wine grape varieties, each offering unique flavors, aromas, and characteristics to the wines they produce.
Compost
Wine compost, also known as grape compost or vineyard compost, is a type of compost made from the residues of winemaking or grape cultivation. It is an organic material that can be used as a soil amendment to improve soil fertility and structure in gardens, vineyards, or agricultural fields. Wine compost typically includes various components such as grape skins, stems, seeds, and other organic matter left over from the winemaking process.

All in the family
The grapes for our wines are harvested from family-owned vineyards planted at the foot of the Colli Asolani hill chain (within the province of Treviso, Veneto). They enjoy good sun exposure and a mild, temperate climate thanks to the pro- tection given by the hills against cold winds blowing from north-east. The soil composition is medium-textured, moderately calcareous.
